Generally, the rate of shipping your household goods depends on freight volume. The more you move, the less you pay. The customer should remember that in US maritime industry there is a minimal charge (the price for 35 cu ft).
A door-to-door rate usually includes: packing and loading from ground floor residence, drayage to port of departure, ocean freight, normal customs clearance, delivery to ground floor residence, unloading, unpacking, normal setup, removal of debris on day of delivery.
