As a rule, the rate of shipping your household goods depends on freight volume. The more you move, the less you pay. The customer should remember that in US maritime industry there is a minimal charge (the price for 35 cu ft).

A door-to-door rate usually includes: packing and loading from ground floor residence, drayage to port of departure, ocean freight, normal customs clearance, delivery to ground floor residence, unloading, unpacking, normal setup, removal of debris on day of delivery.

U.S. export customs regulation: All commercial shipments and Household Goods or Personal Propriety with a total value above $2500 must be declared to the U.S. Census Bureau by filing in AES at www.aesdirect.gov.

Arrival Charges: All International shipments are subject to destination charges and/or other fees. The charges are on Consignee's account at the destination. Usually the charges include: Destination Country Customs Duty and destination terminal handling charges. Destination charges vary depending on a destination country. For sizable shipments 30+ cubic meters these charges may be $700-1000.

For shipments with transshipments there is a carrier transshipment port’s charge may occur (from USD25 to USD50).
